Blue Planet, a children’s play I wrote based on my book The Story of the Blue Planet, will be the spring mainstage play at The University of Tampa Theatre, directed by Nicole Crowther. The production opens on April 17th — secure your tickets if you are in the area!
The play premiered on the main stage of Iceland’s National Theater in 2001 and has since then been staged many times around the world. It has appeared on major city stages as well as in school theatres, and in a variety of forms including musicals, puppet theatre, and suitcase productions across Europe, Asia, and North America. One of the most recent was a beautiful production in Bulgaria earlier this year.
